Sustainable Food Apéro and Poster contest
World Food Day Celebration
We are delighted to celebrate World Food Day on November 4th at our headquarters in Zurich. This engaging, family-friendly event aligns with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization’s International Food Day initiatives, offering a creative and educational poster-making activity for children, along with a casual networking opportunity for adults. Sustainable food, one of our three core investment themes, will be at the heart of our discussions, as we explore its impact and importance in building a healthier future for all.
What to Expect:
Poster contest and Food for children (Aged 5-19): In celebration of this year’s International Food Day, the United Nations is hosting a global poster contest for children. At our event, we’re excited to offer a creative station where children can design their own posters, guided by our sustainable food experts (German and English speaking). All necessary materials will be provided, and the finished posters can be submitted directly to the UN contest, offering a fun and educational experience for young participants. More on the contest here -> Poster contest| World Food Day | Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (fao.org)
Presentation and Apéro for Adults: While the children engage in the poster making activity, you can learn more about sustainable food and enjoy a casual networking aperitif with fellow attendees and the responsAbility team. This will be a unique opportunity to connect on shared interests around sustainability and discuss trends around sustainable food investments.
Highlights:
Sustainability & Education: Join us as we watch our latest short film on sustainable food and hear from experts about the importance of sustainable food practices.
Networking: Connect with other attendees around shared interests in a relaxed atmosphere.
Poster Showcase: View the children’s posters at the end of the event, where we’ll celebrate their creativity and commitment to sustainability.
The event registration is now closed. To inquire about a last minute registration possibility please contact Rachel Dale at rachel.dale@responsability.com.
